No Sound in Max Payne When I'm playing Max Payne 1 in Vista the music & dialogues during the cutscenes or graphic novel does not becomes active. But when I play the game from the same exe file in XP (I have both in dual boot mode), the game runs perfectly alright. Just installed Max Payne again after a few years of not touching it. Windows 7 64-bit, and the sound was really dodgy (not completely gone, but unplayably bad). Tried this fix, and everything’s working like a charm. So thanks a lot. Max Payne 1 Fixes? Hello, I am on Windows 10 running on steam, while the game seem to run fine I have stretched graphics due to widescreen resolution (1440p). I wonder what version does the Steam version of Max Payne is, or if I should download official patch or any community made patches and fixes.
